Hunslet Hawks RLFC  have swooped to sign Warrington Wolves Academy starlet Nigel Scott on a 1 year contract.

Nigel is a Stand Off and was recommended to the club by Warrington's Head Of Youth Development John Bastion.

21 year old Scott was included in Wales initial 2008 World Cup Squad and is Oldham born.

Director of Rugby Darren Williams said "Nigel possesses a great pair of hands and his work rate is superb and we have real high hopes that he will cement his place in our first team squad."

Williams added "Oldham & Blackpool were also interested in acquiring Nigel's services and we consider his signature as a major coup for the club."

On signing Scott added "Hunslet have made rapid strides over the last season and the coaching staff and the facilities they have made the decision an easy one for me to make."

He will make his Hawks debut in a pre-season fixture yet to be announced.
