Hunslet Hawks RLFC are delighted to announce the capture of International Winger Waine Pryce from Featherstone Rovers.

Pryce 28 has played in Super League with Castleford Tigers from 1999-2005 & Wakefield Trinity Wildcats 2006-2007.

He scored 24
tries in 45 appearances for Featherstone in a 2 year spell and also represented England & Great Britain in 2002-2003 making 5 appearances.

Director of Rugby Darren Williams said " We were not actively looking to add to the squad but when we were approached regarding Waine's availability the temptation was just too good to resist."

Williams added " It's not everyday that you get the opportunity to sign an International who possesses the finishing prowess that Wayne has, obviously he is vastly experienced and has pace to burn and in my opinion could still cut it in Super League."

On signing Pryce said " I would like to thank Hunslet for giving me the opportunity to get back in the game, I know a lot of the current squad at the club and certainly believe they should be playing in the Championship next season with the calibre of players available at South Leeds this terms."

Williams revealed " Waine was actually courted by York City Knight's but to our delight he decided his future was with the Hawks."
