Hunslet Hawks RLFC are delighted to announce the capture of Danny Grimshaw & Rob Kelly from Championship rivals York City Knight's.

Grimshaw 23 is a Stand Off with bags of pace and Kelly also 23 is a back row forward whose work rate is second to none.

Rob's father is the current Irish coach Andy Kelly.

Director of Rugby Darren Williams said "The bulk of the squad is now in place and Grimmer is an exciting attacking half-back with pace to burn he has had his injury problems but they are now behind him and Rob will regularly top the tackle count with his high work rate."

Williams added "We will announce 3 new signings later in the week as well as a number of our current squad who have signed extended deals."

Grimshaw said "I am thrilled to join the Hawks and I am looking forward to playing under Paul March again and the new season cannot come around quick enough."
