Hunslet Hawks RLFC are delighted to announce the signing of David March from Championship rivals York City Knight's on a 1 year contract.

March 30 is a creative loose forward and has vast Super League experience with Wakefield Trinity Wildcats and joins the Hawks after 2 season's at York.

He will be re-united with his twin brother Paul the current Hawks player coach and will form the cornerstone of the Hawks pack for 2010.

Director of Rugby Darren Williams said "We are thrilled to have finally agreed terms with David as York were ultra keen on retaining his services which shows how highly they regard him. I firmly believe that David is the biggest signing this club has made for over 10 years and to attract a player of his ability shows the ambitions of the club."

March said "I am pleased to have the chance to continue playing in the same side as my brother and he made my decision to join the Hawks on easy one after informing me of his recruitment plans and how much he has enjoyed his initial spell with the club."

March added "Our kid tells me it's a fun club to be at with good people behind it."

Meanwhile Hawks have launched their season ticket sales for 2010.

£110 Adult, £25 Junior up to & including school year 11 (Includes all home and away League & Northern Rail Cup Fixtures & 1 Challenge Cup Fixture), £55 concession.
Hawks office open 11am-2:30pm Mon - Fri (Advised to ring Peter Todd, General Manager on 07827 325926 for confirmation of opening hours before setting off), Cash or Cheque only accepted by the club.

Williams added "The signing of David March shows the supporters the intentions of the club, by launching our season ticket sales early we now need them to support the club so we can make further quality additions to the squad, we will also be re-launching a Vice President's Club and looking to attract more local sponsors for the 2010 season."
