Weeden 25 is a stand off/loose forward and joins the Hawks until the end of the season. The transfer went through with minutes to spare as the transfer deadline closed yesterday. Josh has played at Dewsbury Rams & Featherstone Rovers and is a creative play maker with strong defence.
Director of Rugby Darren Williams said, “ We are thrilled to be able to add Josh for the push for promotion and we see him as the final piece in the jigsaw, He will make his debut in tomorrow's vital home League clash against play off rivals Swinton Lions.”
Weeden added, “ It will be good to join a winning team after the recent trials at my previous club and I am looking forward to making my debut for the Hawks and hope to finish my career in the UK with a Grand Final appearance.”
