Despite having several squad members down with swine flu, the Hawks managed to finish the regular season on a high with an impressive 36 v. 18 win over Oldham Roughyeds. Wayne McHugh played despite feeling unwell before kick off and scored a hat trick of tries and 4 goals. It was an impressive all round team performance which leaves everyone feeling confident about our chances next week at Blackpool in the play offs.
