Hunslet Hawks RLFC have added two more to their 2010 squad.
Full back Tom Sheldrake 21 has committed for a further year having impressed in his debut season and coming on board from Wakefield Trinity Wildcats is 20 year old prop forward Russell Dale. Russell has also penned a 1 year contract after having a three year spell at the Wildcats.
Director of Rugby Darren Williams said "Tom Sheldrake put in some pretty consistent performances throughout the year and has added utility value and is a accomplished goal kicker to boot so to retain him for a further season is a major boost to the club."
On Dale Williams added "We have kept our eye of Russell's progress over the previous 12 months and after a 3 year grounding at the Wildcats he feels he is ready to push for a regular spot at Championship level, he has a good engine and good go forward and we will provide him with that opportunity."
"Our plans for next season are really taking shape and further squad retentions as well as new signings will be announced shortly."
